Mama posted a new video of us, well…..it’s of me, Hallie, being a little bit of a bully to Simon. He was sitting with mama too close for my comfort so I needed him to get down. This is another area we are working on in training. Mama says if you go to the right there is a link to “Our Videos” and it’s there under today’s date. I might have been being a bit of a bully but it’s ok, we made up and I look quite cute in the video (minus the growling noises).
Love, Hallie
Oh how I love my close up pictures! It looks like I’m singing doesn’t it?

The Doppler Radar on the tv is all green and that means rain rain and some more rain! It’s been pouring all day long and that means no playing outside and lots of naps. We slept in today, ate some breakfast, watched it rain, saw a scary movie on tv, got to lick a popsicle (it was yummy). That’s about it, pretty relaxing day with mama home.
We hope you are all having some sunshine~

Mama wanted to see if our winter coats fit and guess what? They doooooooo and they are so warm and fuzzy. We love them! Can’t wait until it snows.

Our trainer came over last night and taught us and mama sooooooo much stuff. He said that we have to listen and do “sit” and “down” to get our rewards. He also taught mama what she can do when we bark to get us to be quiet. Everything involves rewards and we like that. Mama said that this will require all of us to be more aware of what we are doing and that sounds ok to us.
We had a great time and can’t wait until next week……..

I’m going to be Wonder Dog! My costume is the prettiest dress ever. Mama says it almost looks like Wonder Woman and we all know how great she was. It’s a red and white striped dress with blue sequins on it. I can’t wait to take pictures in it and enter a Halloween contest. Love, Hallie Ann
I’m going to be a fisherman! I have a hat and everything but I don’t really like it. Mama says it’s a very “Alaskan” costume and all I need is a fishing pole. Guess I’m going to have to dress up again this year but at least it’s better than my lizard costume from last year. Love, Simon Samuel

Oh My Gosh! You won’t believe what Charlie told us through the wall (he is our best friend doggie neighbor, if you scroll down you can see pics of Charlie Brown). Our mommies went to a workshop yesterday with the trainer (see below) and they decided that we ALL need some training, they spent a long time there so he didn’t come over to play ball. So that means that on Thursday nights Joe the Trainer is going to come over and train all of us!!!!! He used to be a Marine so I guess we are kind of in “boot camp” except mommy tells us it’s all about positive reinforcement and apparently there are food rewards (not treats but rewards) involved. He has a doggie named Chloe and they have done important work like the World Trade Center and a big earthquake. He sounds okay enough so we will listen and be good for him on Thursday.
Mama told us that we have to train individually so that means one of us will have to stay in our crate while the other is being trained. We aren’t so sure about that idea but we will try it and look forward to our REWARDS! hehe
It’s cold here in NY so we hope if you are in a cold place you have lots of blankies to keep you warm. brrrrrrrrrr……..

Oh goodness graciousness, our mama is complaining and whining because she can’t stop eating “treats” (she calls them people treats since we can’t have any). She says it’s all grandma’s fault for buying Halloween candy so early. We keep telling her how yummy treats are and she should have as many as she wants and give us some too (aren’t we sneaky?)!!!!!
Oh oh oh oh oh aaaaaaaaaand………..she talked to the trainer man (his name is Joe) at daycare yesterday and he’s coming over tomorrow at 12:30 to see us. Do ya think he’s coming over to play ball? Mama keeps rambling about defining our roles and defining some expectations and unacceptable behaviors, whatever all that means. We are just excited to have company. Maybe he will bring treats, we can always hope!
Have a great weekend friends!
