I’m So Proud! by Hallie Ann
So today was just another Saturday. Morning coffee, morning walks, resting, cleaning, etc. This afternoon Mama left me outside on the back porch while her and Simon went inside to get something. GUESS WHAT I GOT?? A chipmunk of my very own. I thought I better bring it inside to show Mama and Simon so I pranced into the living room and played with it (it was dead already). Mama quickly scooped me and Simon up and put us in the bedroom. When she came to get me she had disposed of my hunting adventure. Hmpf!!!!
Then I got my teeth brushed about 50 times and force fed some breath mints. Doesn’t she know how proud I am? I’ve been prancing around with my head high and my tail even higher! I’m a good girl doing my job!
Hey little Kujo, good job. You did just what you were supposed to do except next time (if there is a next time), please keep it outside so mommy won’t have to put on her rubber gloves, get the broom and dust pan, and take it back outside. I love you Hallie Ann. Love, Grandma
