I DID I DID I DID!! Me, Miss Hallie Ann Sexy Beast, lost a whole half a pound! Of course I did get a significant haircut but I like to think that my weight loss is a result of hard work, dedication and strict monitoring of my emotional eating.  I tried to get a treat from mom but she said that would be counter productive, whatever that means.  I’m very proud of myself!

And mom has to work again tomorrow, these Saturdays of her working are really messing up our weekends.  Hmpf!!!

Mom had to work Saturday so we only got 1 day of weekend and it was spent following her around doing laundry and cleaning and stuff.  1 day is NOT enough! She says she has another conference this weekend too so we told her she BETTER take Friday afternoon off and take us walking or out to do something special.  Anyway, we hope you all had a normal weekend and weren’t neglected like us (sniff sniff).

I got a new ball for my birthday and I haven’t put it down since! I LOVE it and it’s the best present EVER!

Tomorrow is MY birthday and I’m going to be 5. Mom says I need to start paying rent but I had to remind her that I’m still to little to get a job! Tomorrow I’m going to daycare to have a party then when we get home I’m going to get my presents (I hope it’s a new soccer ball) and have a birthday dinner of chicken and green beans. I really like my birthday.

The BEST present came from Layla. She sent me this beautiful card with her pretty picture on it. I want to kiss her face.

Grandma got me my haircut for my birthday present and although I don’t really like going to the spa like some people (ahem Hallie) I appreciate it.  I think I look manly now.

Here’s me in my new hat! I’m not so sure about it yet.  And one of Hallie smiling at me telling me Happy Birthday and another of us being sleepy.  I had to fall asleep outside on my blanket, it made me feel like a wolf.  They have to sleep outside all the time!

I had the best party last night! My real birthday isn’t until Thursday but we had a party yesterday and it was oh so much fun! I had balloons and treats and lots of people to play ball with.  Hallie was even nice to me! It was too fun! Here are some pictures!

So Mom came back from the store today all super excited about a giant turtle in the front of our apt. complex by the ponds.  She was acting all happy and made us go see it.  As you can see from the picture we were over-joyed by the slow moving, non-furry, blob that was creeping back to the pond.  The darker blob in the picture is it’s head.  Really Mom? A freakin’ turtle?

Hi Layla, here are some new pics of me.  Your mom said you wanted some so I made my mom take these just for you! Hope you are having a good holiday (is there a Labor Day holiday in Canada?). Love, Simon
