Today is our mama’s birthday so we started off this morning when the alarm went off giving her lots of kisses and letting her pretend to be sneaky and act like she was going to work. We knew she wasn’t but wanted to be good and maybe she would bring us a present home.
When she came home from her shopping trip of buying everyone presents we saw it……our bag with treats in it! YAY! Then she said we should all get out of the house so we went to daycare and played with some friends while mom visited with Cleo and Kena.
Now we are just exhausted from mom’s birthday and being SO good all day. Tomorrow we will be back to our normal sassy selves. Perhaps she will wrap some presents and put them under the tree so we can get nosey.
Happy Birthday Mama, We Love You~

This year we are thankful for the following:
1. Wellness for making our food
2. Toyshop Playables for making our soccer ball
3. Our family and friends for loving us all the time even when we are sassy
4. Turkey (but not Faye)
5. Daycare for taking care of us when mom has to work
Yep, that’s what we are thankful for this year and next year probably too! We put up our tree today, it’s very pretty and has a soccer ball tree topper!
Happy Thanksgiving Friends,

It’s cold and dark! We have been going to bed very early lately and getting a lot of sleep. Mom has started turning on the light box so we don’t get all cranky and sad and stuff. Here we are all snuggled up after a long day of playing with our new soccer balls.
Love,
Hibernating Hallie & Sleepy Simon
oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh guess WHAT??? Mom was on the phone earlier with Aunt Paula and I had a ball but Hallie wanted it (she lost hers) so she was screaming and mom was searching for the ball and Aunt Paula talked mom into giving me a brand new one! I have never been so happy EVER…..except the last time I got a new soccer ball. Hallie got one too but whatever, I’ll steal it.

First, mom is FINALLY back to normal after being ill for 2 whole weeks. We can’t type by ourselves so we had to wait for her to get better. And it’s just in time for GRANDMA’S BIRTHDAY!!!
Happy Birthday to you Grandma, we love you and can’t wait to see you for Christmas! Have a super fun day and play lots of ball and get lots of treats….oh wait that’s what we would do…you can still have lots of treats! We love you very much!

We got to go to daycare today to help celebrate Riley’s Birthday (remember him, he stayed with us a few weeks ago). We had doggie birthday cake and lots of treats. Here are some pics of MY special place at daycare. I don’t have to spend the day with the stinky other dogs anymore, I get to stay in the window with Riley and Mia and greet customers all day. I LOVE it! Here is a pic of Delilah too, she thinks she’s little (silly woman). Love, Hallie “window display” Ann

We haven’t been able to get mom to type for us because she doesn’t feel well. She left on Monday to go to the dr and said she would be right back but it took awhile and when she came back she said it didn’t go very well and she was hurting. She hurt all of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and went back to work Thursday but only half a day. When she takes her medicine she is realllllly funny, it makes her silly.
So, since she hasn’t been feeling well, I (Simon) have been very busy protecting the apartment from the animals out back and sleeping a lot with mom. Hallie has been busy eating and playing in the toy box.
Here I am being a good doctor for mom

This is a confusing story so try to stay with us. Our friend Paula in Michigan has a sister named Terri who rescued a yorkie from Oklahome named Koda. We all had to try to find a way to get Koda from his foster mom, Donna, to Indianapolis where he could meet his mommy Terri who was driving from Michigan. So guess who helped? OUR grandpa! He drove 5 hours from St. Louis to pick up little koda from Jen and Donna (the nice rescue ladies). That’s who is in the pictures! Koda made it home to Michigan about 2am today and now he’s all warm and snuggly in his forever home.
See, that’s how rescue works. Neat, huh?
